Day 1

Arrival in Frankfurt Area | Germany

  • Make your way to your accommodation. 
  • You can enjoy the rest of your day in any way you feel. 
  • Meet your Tour Director and fellow passengers tonight.

Day 2

Excursion to Frankfurt Area | Weimar | Berlin

  • Your first destination is in Weimar, Germany's former intellectual capital, which was home to geniuses such as Luther, Cranach, Bach, Liszt, Schiller, and, of course, Goethe himself. 
  • It was renowned as the "Athens of Germany" at one point. Continue through Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt until you reach Berlin, Germany's capital.
  • Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3

Visit to Berlin

  • Discover how the city is no longer segregated but still interesting on this morning's included guided tour. 
  • Berlin, once a city of contrasts with its West and East sides divided by a wall into two separate worlds, has evolved into a perfect combination of contemporary and traditional. 
  • The State Opera House and Brandenburg Gate, as well as the Kurfürstendamm and Unter den Linden boulevards, have been maintained. 
  • New structures in the most daring, contemporary architectural styles are currently being added to the mix. 
  • It is once again the capital of Germany, as well as one of Europe's most vibrant and intriguing cities

Day 4

Drive to Poznan | Warsaw

  • Travel east to Poznan, one of Poland's oldest commercial cities, and marvel at its Renaissance market square. 
  • Proceed to Warsaw, Poland's capital.

Day 5

Sight-seeing at Warsaw

  • Included with the sightseeing trip is a great way to get to know Warsaw, which has been beautifully rebuilt after the war. 
  • The broad avenues of today contrast sharply with the ancient section's small alleyways.

Day 6

Travel to Jasna Góra | Auschwitz

  • On your way south today, you'll have two historical contacts. 
  • The first is Jasna Góra in Cz?stochowa, a monastery that resisted several assaults by massive Swedish armies during the 17th-century religious warfare. 
  • Since then, the country's Black Madonna has become a national emblem. 
  • Visit the ruins of the Auschwitz Concentration Camp in the afternoon, a sobering reminder of the Holocaust. Arrival in Kraków in the evening.

Day 7

Arrival at Kraków

  • According to legend, this is Poland's most beautiful city. Krakow, a city included on the UNESCO World Heritage List for the first time, provides a wealth of history and architecture.
  • It was the country's capital for 500 years, and it remains without a doubt its cultural hub today. 
  • Join the included morning sightseeing tour of mediaeval Kraków, which has been the home of Polish royalty for centuries. 
  • Market Square, the Jewish Quarter, St. Mary's Church, and Wawel Cathedral are all worth seeing. 
  • Later, you will have free time to explore this fascinating town at your leisure and socialise with the residents.

Day 8

Trip to Budapest | Hungary

  • Today, you will be visiting three different nations. 
  • The journey begins in the south, with a stop in Poland's Tatra Mountains, followed by a gorgeous drive across Slovakia, and ultimately a stop in Hungary. 
  • Budapest, the liveliest Eastern European metropolis, is your destination.
  • Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 9

Exploring Budapest

  • Budapest is a goldmine of architectural masterpieces, ranging from Gothic to Baroque; Neoclassical to Art Nouveau, but it's also rich in history, a gastronomic city, and surprisingly abundant in hot springs. 
  • During the complimentary guided city tour, you'll learn about all of this and more.

Day 10

Trip to Austria

  • Travel northwest and cross the border into Slovakia, a neighbouring country. Stop at Bratislava, Slovakia's fascinating capital on the Danube's banks, to see the old Old Town. 
  • Continue west into Austria, where you will find the wonderful city of Vienna.

Day 11

Discover Vienna

  • The State Opera, Parliament, the elegant Rathaus (Town Hall), and views of the Hofburg Imperial Palace from Heroes' Square are all featured in the included city sightseeing trip.
  • You'll have plenty of time to explore Vienna independently or attend one of our fantastic optional excursions

Day 12

Journey to Prague | Czech Republic

  • Spend the morning at your leisure or participate in an optional trip. 
  • Cross the Czech border into Moravia this afternoon, then travel through Bohemia's rich farmlands to Prague.
  • Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 13

Say your goodbyes to Prague

  • Dvorak and Smetana, both composers from Prague, may have been influenced by the abundance of Gothic and Baroque buildings. 
  • The Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge, and the Old Town Square with the astronomical clock are all included in the guided sightseeing. 
  • Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 14

Shop at Nuremberg

  • Before travelling to the Frankfurt Area, stop at Nuremberg to see its charming market square and Our Lady's Church.
